Introduction: Live Acoustic Gutiar/Vocalist, Open Mic Host, Steve Meehan, performs classic rock music from 60s to current, and Celtic and Spanish genres. Steve has played many hundreds of paid venues from Philadelphia, Delaware, Chesapeake Bay Venues, and Ireland. Steve now resides in Central Pennsylvania, is a father of four daughters, and has immediate family in Ireland's counties Clare and Wicklow, where they are very active in traditional Irish music performances.
Steve, a seasoned professional, is never too loud, and adapts to the room and event, with a "state-of- the-art" Bose Tower sound system, or projects when needed with other traditional speakers.
Steve has performed in numerous bands, Duo's and Trios over the years, from "Last Call", "Alias", "Well-Strung", Mike Elzey Studios, and the Celtic Trio "Knotwork".
His Rock Repetoire includes: Beatles, Who, Rolling Stones, Cat Stevens, Eagles, Sting, U2, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, CSN&Y, Jack Johnson, David Grey, Doobie Bros., Zeppelin, Skynyrd, Dave Mason, Dave Matthews, Chicago, Santana, Pink Floyd, Fastball, CCR, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, Neil Young, James Taylor, America, Harry Chapin, Bob Seeger...and many more.
Irish Music Repetoire includes: traditional songs and tunes, acoustic versions of current Irish Musicians, from Paul Brady, U2, David Grey, to name a few.
I love taking requests, and adjusting my energy and volume appropriate to the venue and mood of event.
