FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, as per state licensure requirements.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I believe it was a divine calling. As early as 5 years old, i remember massaging my relatives and instinctually knowing what to do. At the age of 13, i told my parents that i wanted to be a Massage Therapist and they totally didn't support the idea. So naturally i went on with me life, worked in offices, became a Hairdresser and during this time, i just got so much positive feedback on my shampooing/massaging that i decided to get my license.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I get a lot of requests from injured patients that have a lot of pain. So i typically offer an intuitive massage with a combination of modalities i scan the body, do some compressions, then start off gentle to firm, a little trigger point therapy to break up knots and move energy, some stretching if needed and i usually use some essential oils at hand.
