We are a full service general contractor experienced in every facet of remodeling. We do additions, garages, basements, bathrooms, kitchens, bars, sunrooms, doors, windows, flooring, custom trim work, cabinetry and many other remodeling projects.

We are a registered home improvement contractor in Pennsylvania, and are fully insured. We are also an EPA-certified renovator qualified to perform lead testing and lead-safe renovation, repair, and painting.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Interior remodeling. Basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and interior renovations.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Talk to references and look at pictures of completed work. Better yet, go to a completed project that is similar to yours and look over the work and talk to the homeowner.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Which contractors do quality work. Get several estimates, read them over closely, and select the contractor that fits your needs and is giving you exactly what you want. Low bid in not always the best.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. A general scope of the project and what they specifically need me to estimate.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our projects are done the right way that why we have few callbacks.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Getting satisfaction out of every project we complete.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Will you show up when you told us you would? Yes. We make every effort to start on time but there are some instances when a project may be delayed by material availability or some other circumstances but we make the customer aware of any situations that arise and reschedule as soon as possible.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. No one story but I am always encouraged by the customer that notices the quality work we do.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. The time and costs that goes into running a home improvement business.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I worked in Commercial Construction for 11 years before I left and started my business. Before that my father taught me remodeling in the house I grew up in.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We just recently remodeled an 80 year old bathroom into a gorgeous master bath.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I subscribe to the Journal of Light Construction, read articles on the internet, and talk with reps and other trade professionals on the new and latest methods of remodeling.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. There is a growing trend toward marbles, granites, heated floors, tankless water heaters, green building, and high efficiency building methods. In the next few years solar power may become more reasonable and be available to more households.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. The master bath we just completed involved gutting, rewiring, repiping, reframing, and rebuilding the bathroom from the floor on up. The bath was completed with a marble floor, shower, 60" vanity with a two bowl marble top, toilet, mirrors, and two wall cabinets. The cost was approximately $14,000 not including the fixtures. It about 6 weeks to complete.

A. I break down every project and supply a detailed estimate to my customers.

A. Do quailty work and treat your customers the way you would want to be treated.
