Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I seek to develop in each student an holistic understanding of music through its performance, theory, and history. I find this approach helps students to gain proficiency on their instrument as well an awareness of the intimate connection of music to other aspects of historical and contemporary culture.
