Question and answer
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Photography has been made to appear so easy my camera manufacturers who have a vested interest in selling their cameras and making it appear simple. However pointing and shooting is NOT what a professional does! Knowing what to look for in a great shot, how to make a difficult location still photograph well, and still provide great service; this makes the difference between trusting your uncle with the funny camera he spent all that money on and a professional.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Our company is made up of photographers formerly of several other studios all united in the belief that good photojournalism doesn't have to cost thousands. In keeping with that belief we also don't see why your wedding pictures should be held hostage; at Garnet Images you hold copyright on your own photos. That means you can copy, enlarge or distribute your own pictures your own way. Never an extra fee with Garnet Images.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. We take a moment of people's lives and save it for them to remember forever. It's a fantastic feeling to be a part of that and to do so in a beautiful way.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. "Can I meet my photographer before the wedding"? And the answer is; YES! We have many photo professionals here and all with decades of experience. If there's a photographer you had specifically in mind, we can book that one for you especially, as long as he or she isn't already booked for another event. That's why it's important to book as soon as you can.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. We love being a part of each couple's day and everyone's wedding is unique and special.
