Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I was playing piano at Cafe Madison (Riverside, NJ). A man walked up to me and asked if I could play the song Autumn Leaves. I said yes, he said, "Please play it in my key." "No problem," I said. Playing in different keys can be challenging for musicians, but I just happened to know that song in several keys, and I'm was glad he chose that song instead of one that I didn't know.
