FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on each job . It requires alot of information like how many faces, distance traveled, time required, whether or not I need to have more than one makeup artist, etc
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do makeup weekly and stay current with trends. Training is ongoing when you are a professional. Plus I am very knowledgable on fashion and use the best products.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up a tom boy and over the years learned about caring for my skin. I had my first makeover at 18 by a friends Mom who managed a local retail cosmetic store. In my thirties I started a picture framing business and learned about color, balance, and harmony. I also took some painting classes. Surprisingly I learned that I had a natural talent for color and my love of glamour was a by product. I look at everyone's face as if it were an even canvas and start from there. I enhance their natural beauty and bring out the best of their own features. I am told by many that I have a "gift" and I LOVE IT!!
