- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the time! I study art on a daily basis and attend photography workshops all over the US at least twice a year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mom still has photographs that I took of my sister when I was 9 years old. I used to create make-shift backdrops in my bedroom and spend hours posing her and taking pictures on a disposable camera. I guess you can say photography was always in my blood and after years of working a desk job, I decided to pursue my dreams. I've never looked back.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most commonly, I shoot weddings Friday-Sunday. Monday-Thursday you can find me either in my natural light studio or on location creating lifestyle portraits for families or getting to know my wedding couples while having a blast shooting engagement photos! I also am the photographer for Views & Voices magazine and service a number of commercial clients.
