TIRED OF THE FREE LESSONS ON YOUTUBE THAT REALLY STINK? COME TAKE MUSIC LESSONS FROM AN EDUCATED PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN, - DOUG EDGELL

I offer guitar, bass, piano, drum, and vocal lessons. I am now auditioning new students to fill some openings in my schedule.

I have B.S. degree in music from West Liberty University. I also teach annually at Duquesne University's summer guitar and bass workshop. I teach all levels and styles of guitar - classical / fingerpicking, rock, blues, and jazz. I also can show you how to sing and play guitar. Piano, bass guitar and drums students are also welcome. I have recorded, toured and performed with the group Sleeping Giants. I've also performed on the "Conan" show.

I since have released 4 CD's of original music which are available on itunes. I combine all of my experiences to provide you with a music program that fits your needs and goals - whether you're a beginner, practicing to pass an audition, performing, or recording I will help you to acheive your goals.
Thanks,
Doug

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be sure to shop around and get the bio of the teacher that you're going to study with. Many people play the guitar and therefore like to teach it for a side job, but there are some of us who actually have a degree in music and do this for a living. So do your homework. Also, have clear goals in mind before you start to study. This will give your instructor a better understanding of how to help you.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I believe that my teaching method is superior to others because of my experience and ability to fulfill the students requests - whether it's a new song to learn, a question about music theory or how to record a vocal, I have relevant answers based on real life experience. I also tailor each students learning experience so that there are specific goals. You will see how one thing leads to the next and get real results.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like meeting people from all walks of life who are interested in music. It's great to be able to share the ability to play music with my students and to see them achieve their goals.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. I teach many students at different levels so the questions are diverse. But, many students would like to know how to navigate the guitar fretboard better and to be able to improvise a guitar solo based on the chord progression of the song. (not just play a key center solo). So, I do a lot of work with students in this area.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Pricing is as follows:

$37.50 per hour when I teach at Mannella Guitars. (Verona or Monroeville)
$50 an hour if you come to see me at my home. (daytime and by audition only)
$100 an hour if I come to see you. 30 miles maximum
