As The Boss Groover, DJ, I've entertained both radio and club and private audiences since the earliest days of disco.
With an online searchable song list, planning tools, and time line forms, I make sure your party is the best ever AND has never been easier!

Don't trust your wedding, anniversary, reunion, milestone birthday, or corporate event to just anyone with an iPod and an ego! I do whatever it takes to make your event memorable!
After all, when it comes to booking entertainment for your special event, there's good, there's better, and then there's The Boss Groover!
Don't trust a boy to do a man's job! Hire the Boss and then Relax... your event's going to be GREAT!

I used to listen to Boss Groover on the radio and in the clubs when I went to college at Ohio U. He was the only reason anyone listened to that station OR came out three nights a week. Imagine how thrilled I was to see him back doing live shows, this time in Philly, some three decades later! I immediately booked him for my parents' anniversary, and HE STILL ROCKS! Great personality and boy, does this guy know his music...he had four generations dancing all night long. It was great, and I'm spreading the word...The Boss is Back!!! Book this guy, or you'll be sorry!

A. Ask questions. A real professional entertainer has years of experience and is only too pleased to give you references.
Remember: Great entertainment isn't expensive, it's priceless! Large DJ companies often send their least skilled employees to the lowest paying gigs, and YOU pay for THEIR in service training!
A. What's the difference between an "iPod" DJ and a real entertainer? With EVERYBODY claiming to be a great DJ, how can I tell them apart? Simple. Ask past clients...read reviews on websites, talk to your candidates on the phone. Are they friendly? Do they seem to have their own agenda, or do they really listen to what YOU want?
A. How much experience do you have? Do you have past clients I can call for recommendations? What kind of training do you have? Can you provide any song requests my guests throw at you?
A. How much do I realistically have to budget for entertainment. Should I hire the cheapest quote I get, or trust that experienced DJs make all the difference in the world, and my party depends on a great DJ. After all, you shouldn't expect a professional for less than you pay for your appetizer tray!
A. For many many people in the entertainment field, being a DJ is just an easy way to make some extra money on the weekends. As a performer for over 35 years, I take my clients' fun seriously! After all, the DJ WILL make or break
your event, but part timers lack the experience (and often the will) to have just the right music at just the right time. I love what I do, and it shows!
