I have combined my passion for design and carpentry to produce individualized contemporary functional furniture, from beds to desks, ottomans, and more!While providing information for novelist, careers, purchasing, equipment, home improvement, recycling and staying earth friendly.
Lancergrafx is based in Philadelphia, PA and is owned and operated by Val Von Swan. I have been in the design industry for 18 years and my design and concepts are simplistic and competitive. I have also been in the general construction business as an intern and skilled contractor for 6 of those years.

Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like the opportunity to take recyclable materials and build new furniture or structures. Helping to save the customer money, preserve and conservate our planet and environment.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I started in my line of work from living in a lot rooms and studios. Notice there never was enough storage space or living space. So functional furniture is the key!
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. For those getting into the my profession. Be sure that there is a passion and intuitive. If you are new to it or been in the industry for while Self help or some local area schooling, or even on the internet. Continue to learn or get left behind.
