- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was never into makeup while growing up so a lot of people are suprised by my current profession. I guess I'd have to say that one day is sort of just hit me! I started playing in cosmetics here and there and the more I played aorund the better I became. I love my job, especially the people I meet while doing it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs usually include: basic makeup applications, bridal work, photo shoots and run way looks. I also get a high volume of requests for one-on-one & group makeup lessons as well as makeup parties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a a makeup artist you want an artist that is flexible and reliable, someone that makes you feel comfortable and at ease about the big event you have coming up. Also look for artists with a legitamate portfolio. When selecting someone to be apart of your big day or event you want to be assured that they can rise to the occasion.
