Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask your physician, relatives, friends and neighbors about their experience with a treatment center. Even though you could be in a neighborhood that has several physical therapy centers, the type of care you receive could be significantly different. Word of mouth is most likely a reliable source when deciding who should treat your muscle, joint, back injuries. Failure of the correct treatment could cause a permanent loss and a chance of full recovery.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Can the doctor or physical therapist tell you of the latest proven treatments. We read research articles on a daily basis, yet there are many healthcare providers in this industry who do not even read a research journal all year long. As to speak with their patients. The treating patient can offer a lot about the facility they are receiving treatment from.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What kind of improvement can I be expected to get? When can I expect to see progress? Will you write a report to my family doctor? If I do not see improvement, what would be your next step in helping my condition? What other healthcare experts do you work with?
