Take a break from your busy week to enter full mind and body relaxation. We are 2 lovely young ladies who offer a full body massage using energy healing and therapeutic techniques.
Example of the Tantric Healing Session:
First, we massage the feet, legs, stomach, chest, and arms to get your blood flowing throughout your body and relieve any tired and achy muscles. Then Reiki is used to open the basic chakras of the torso so your energy is able to travel up the spine. Next, we will focus on the back, working out any knots, so your energy flows evenly. Next the kundalini energy is awakened through various massage techniques. We finally end with a very relaxing face, scalp, and hand massage.
The massages we offer integrate knowledge of the anatomy, eastern healing, massage therapy, and energy work. We also integrate different massage techniques based on your needs, these include: Swedish, Eselan, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage and Accupressure. We are also constantly learning new techniques so we are able to have everyone leave happy and feeling amazing. We try our absolute best to tailor the massage session to your needs.
We offer pain relief and relaxation massages as well. Please visit the website for more details and pricing.

I work long hours at a computer, and several times a week I do martial arts. This combination can be hard on the back, neck and joints. I was very uncomfortable, so I made an appointment to see Cait. After asking a few questions and listening very carefully to my answers, she gave me a slow, thoughtful massage that was was exactly what I needed. I've had many massages before, some OK and some excellent, and this one was unusually effective. I'm looking forward to going back.

I scheduled an hour session with Cait a few weeks ago. I am an avid runner, climber and athlete. I work out probably 10 times per week. I also have a high pressure and high profile professional position. As a result I am frequently sore and pretty beat-up. Cait was wonderful. She was conversational, she was professional, she took the time to learn what I needed. Her massage is completely legitimate. Her massage is also excellent. I highly recommend her. And, the massage took longer than the hour, I did not feel rushed or hurried at all.

I scheduled a 1 hr session with Cait at what appeared to be her apartment. Talkative, while not chatty, Cait took her time, working over all the knots and kinks and even somehow managed to manipulate my bad left shoulder in such a way that it enabled a range of motion that no one else had been able to accomplish. Very comfortable setting and mood. A 100% legitimate massage session, one of the best I have have experienced. While not the most convenient location for me, I absolutely intend on repeat service

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Finding a freelance massage therapist or going to someone who owns their own business will usually result in a much better experience than going to a spa. I've had clients tell me that spas can be very impersonal and just want to get you in and out, quickly as possible. Someone who is working for themselves however, will take the time to get you know you and your body, ultimately resulting in a better massage experience.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The best massage is usually from recently graduated students. Everything they have learned in still fresh in their head and they are more concerned with pleasing the client, but still have experience in the field, which is vital to learning massage.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What is your experience?
Why did you decide to get into massage?
What is your favorite thing about giving a massage?
Do you specialize in anything?
What other courses or information have influenced your technique?
How flexible are you willing to be during a session regarding technique and routine?
What draping is used/is required?
Are you working on a table?
What kind of oil/ lotion is used?
Do apply any other sort of knowledge during a session?
Is your location convenient to public transportation/parking?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Unlike others, I'm a student working out of my apartment so my space is more intimate than a salon or spa. Also, my number one priority is healing and making others feel great so I will spend the time needed to do so. I also work with a partner and we provide many different types of massage and incorporate other aspects of healing as well. Finally, I'm a figurative artist and a psychology major (focusing on neuro-psychology and physiology) so I have an extensive knowledge of anatomy and the human form. I took a class called Ecorsche in which we had to sculpt an entire anatomically correct skeleton and then sculpt all the muscles on top of that.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I really enjoy the one on one interaction and getting to know people and their bodies. I also enjoy the opportunity of being able to heal someone and make them feel relaxed and comfortable. The fact that I can make my own hours is also convenient because I'm currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I had a regular client who was discharged from the army after taking shrapnel to the gut and thigh. Since he was release from the hospital he experience muscular pain in his thigh but also intimacy issues with his girlfriend of 10 years. We worked on both, using myofascial and trigger point techniques on the thigh and reiki and guided imagery to work on intimacy issues. After a few months he ended up moving to D.C. but the last I had heard from him, he was doing great and had since become engaged to his longterm girlfriend. I absolutely loved that feeling of being able to help health someone body, mind, and spirit. That was my proudest moment.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I'm always attending online or in person seminars and have a licensed massage therapist tutor me in different techniques. Also, if any clients are interested in trying a type of massage, I will go out of my way to learn it.
