* BS Physics with highest honors from the University of Chicago (7th highest-rated physics program nationally by US News and World Report)
* 3rd year Bioengineering graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania
* 5 years' experience tutoring physics and mathematics at the high school and undergraduate levels
Services offered:
I offer physics and mathematics tutoring at any level, lower school through undergraduate, including assistance with course work and preparation for various standardized exams (SAT/ACT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.). I focus on teaching a methodical approach to problem solving and emphasize an intuitive understanding of physical concepts rather than rote memorization of equations. I love teaching and the satisfaction that comes with seeing my students improve.
Pricing:
Services are offered at $50/hour with discounts considered for extended commitments. I am happy to answer questions via email between lessons at no additional fee. I will meet anywhere in the West Philly, University City, Center City, or South Philly neighborhoods, and can travel to further destinations for an additional fee.
