Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. A customer should never be charged for the initial meet and greet. The meet and greet/key pick-up is for the pet care provider, pet owner, and pet to get to know each other and make sure it is a good fit. If the customer does not feel comfortable with the provider, they should keep looking. After all, your pet is part of your family!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. A pet care provider cannot provide quality service unless they truly care for animals. Therefore, communication should be open on both ends. A customer should never hesitate to check in with the provider and see how their pet is doing.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Is the provider bonded and insured?
Does the provider have experience?
Who specifically will be providing the service?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. When does the customer want the service?
What are the pet's specific needs?
Are there any special requests that could make visits easier on the pet?
