FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do mostly model/actor portfolio work. The models and actors I work with have various styles from sexy/glamour, fashion, editorial or commercial. Each genre has different requirements. I won't shoot an actor specializing in dramatic roles the same what I shoot a model trying to get bikini work.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what you want. If you want to build your portfolio or you need a great shot for the cover of your magazine hire the person who can get you the shot. Many times, the cover of a magazine is what will sell the magazine so get a photographer who will capture the image which makes the magazine stand out. Aspiring models or actors need great headshots. Headshots are what potential clients use when deciding who to hire. A bad headshot means you won't get any work so hire the photographer who can get you the best headshot you can.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Not every photo is going to be perfect. It may take 100 frames to get that ONE perfect image. We've all see behind-the-scene videos of a photoshoot where the photographer takes lots of pictures but only the best of the best are published in a magazine. New clients shouldn't get discouraged if they don't get the perfect image right away. It takes time and I'm here to help.
