About
Dolphins communicate with sonar... We communicate with "Moe-dar"! Having blind members in the band frees us from the rigidity of reading sheet music. We play from the heart and really listen to each other. This is how we are able to create our trademarked musical groove. We know our material frontwards and backwards... Music is therapeutic and is proven to stimulate the "Happy Happy" in all of us! Case in point... We spend week day afternoons traveling to senior care facilities. When we arrive, we will often find some people who are despondent and seem to be lost in another world. A familiar song will often cause the light in their eyes to come back and will start them talking and relating to others. Even severe Alzheimer patients will sometimes respond in this way. I get a big thrill watching this happen.

I have been to two events where these guys were the entertainment. I loved every minute. The music is relaxing, enjoyable, entertaining, and they are quality musicians. I would hire them in a minute to come to my event.

I am a long-time fan of "Jimmy Sapienza's Five Guys Named Moe". I attended Churchill Area High School and sang in the A Cappella Choir there, which gained national recognition for their high quality professionalism and sound. Jimmy sang tenor in the choir to my baritone...lots o' fun!! Jimmy has carried that professionalism and discipline with him to become a leader of the best in 'razz-ma-tazz' entertainment. The renditions of old jazz favorites, backed up with a fantastic group of voice and instrumentation, leaves you rockin' in your seat!! Actually...gettin up on the floor to dance wouldn't be a such bad idea, either! Jimmy played at our 40th high school reunion and our classmates were thrilled to see where his career as a professional entertainer has taken him. Jimmy is a FAMILY favorite, and played at my brother's wedding reception! A great time was had by all!

I'm blushing... Thank you!

Jimmy and the Five guys swing consistently. His vocals are matched only by his superior wit. The material is meticulously arranged. Top flight entertainment.
Jimmy Sapienza's Five Guys Named Moe's reply
Thank you, Bill. Yes, talented musicians like Keith Stebler, Lou Schreiber, Kenny Blake, Steve Trettel, Eric DeFade, George Pirelli, Kenny Karsh, Chris Pangikas and others are the best. They really make me look good. I'm a lucky duck, I am...
