Introduction: "Affordable, quality, and forward-thinking photography in the southwestern PA area. Life's too short to be remembered through an iPhone." I'm a hobbyist photographer in the Greater Pittsburgh region. The thing that separates me from other photographers is that this isn't how I earn my living. I have a wonderful, fulfilling career as a chemical engineer, which allots me the time and finances to pursue my hobbies, including photography. The bottom line is that, while other photographers have to make a huge profit on every job they do to account for their living expenses, I simply do not and only charge what the job will cost. I'm not in this venture for money, it's about creativity for me. Likewise, my mantra for this business is that I want to be affordable enough that everyday people could hire me to have professional-quality pictures for events, where someone would not traditionally hire a photographer. I've done weddings, headshots, senior photos, engagement photos, pregnancy photos, etc.; all the things that traditional photographers do. But I'm just as interested in the everyday things, not just special occasions. Let's shoot a girls' night out, your family's yearly tradition of making gingerbread houses, or some action shots of your softball game, not just the boring posed team photos. I want to capture your diving game winning catch, not just an awkwardly posed headshot. I'm also very adventurous with my photography. I've had my camera strapped to me for snowboarding all along the east coast. I've taken it skydiving and bungee jumping, snuck it onto multiple roller coasters, etc. I'm willing to take the riskier jobs because not only am I also an adventurous person, but it always leads to interesting, passionate photos.
