Oreen Cohen Multi-Media Artist

Introduction: I am a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Master of Fine Art Program. I am a sculptor and video artist who uses artistic creativity to produce various projects for events, programs, and theatrical sets and looking to help your vision become a reality. I am available for video editing, videos, photography, commissioned sculptures, paintings, or fabrication projects. I have several years of experience working with children in educational settings--large and one-on-one private lessons--as well as teaching college-level students. My artwork is based in mixed media, painting, sculpture, installation, and video. I am very knowledgeable on traditional artwork and processes (drawing, oil painting, acrylic, collage, etc.). Sculpture is my specialty (metal work (MIG/ARC welding), found object art, plaster, and mold making). I can teach you anything art related for K-12 and adults. I am eager and passionate about teaching and helping to inspire kids through art and show them that through mistakes your true creativity comes through from creative problem solving. I also like to show kids the various materials that you can use to make art, so they can tap into their resourcefulness, which is a key characteristic for successful artists.
