- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified group fitness instructor through AFAA (American Fitness Association of America) as well as an AFAA and ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer. I also hold a nutrition specialist certification through AASDN(American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists) I teach a variety of workouts including: Functional Training,Hip Hop, Kickboxing, Pilates/Yoga, Cycle, Bootcamp, and P90X.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We have a tendency to spend a lot of money on things that are detrimental to our health: cable TV, dining out, alcohol and cigarettes. What is more important to you, your health or your TV program? If you make your health a priority, you can find room in the budget for a trainer. NOTHING is more valuable than your health!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Although in home personal training is a little more expensive than hiring a personal trainer at the gym, it is well worth the cost difference. The in home training experience is much more personal.
