Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I perform most any type of event that is based on a family-friendly setting. This can range from birthday parties, banquets, fairs, festivals, libraries, scout shows and so much more.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always ask questions up front and engage the performer. It is your event and you want to be certain they can answer your questions and meet your needs.

Also, make sure to get every show in writing via a confirmation letter or a full contract. This makes you and the performer more at ease knowing all the details are correct.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish I knew that there is a variety of magicians and we are not all the same. many of us specialize in certain areas. it is important to ask questions up front and hire the magician that is best suited to your event needs.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. - We are one of few husband and wife magic teams perofmring in the US today.
- My wife is also an accomplished magician and a certified day care teacher. we can provide a customized solution for any preschool event and beyond.
- Every show is customized to YOUR needs.
- We carry with us full libaility insurance for every show we perform.
- Every show is completely self-contained. We just need an area to perform and an audience eager to have a great time.
- I have been perfomring professionally for well over 20 years and have one numerous awards for our family-style magic.
- When we perform our Birthday Magic show, we float the Birthday Child on the edge of a folding chair. This is our signature illusion that makes your child the star of the day.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. - Putting smiles upon faces and a great feeling in people's hearts. I truely believe that if I can make folks forget about their problems for a while, that is the REAL magic.
- Solving your event problems and exceeding expectations is what Kelly and I are all about. We will go to any length to ensure your event needs are met and surpassed.
- I have a deep passion for what I do and my audiences are everything. This is why our show/s are fun, engaging and memorable.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Do I carry insurance? yes I carry full liability insurance for every show I do.

Do you travel for events? yes, Kelly and I travel all over the east coast performing our unique brand of magic.

Do you come self-contained and have your own sound system? yes, Every show is entirely self-contained so there is little you have to povide for us. We also have a full sound system for all events.

Do you do Birthday Parties? yes, we actually specialize in a full birthday party package that makes your child the star of the day.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Every show we perform we customize to our audiences. I remember doing a full show for an 80th birthdya party. I asked the daughter up front for any and all information on her father so I can customize the show for him.

The father and the audience loved the show so much that he had tears in his eyes and thanked me for not only the magic but for the memories as well.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I have always had a passion for performing and magic just always mazed my senses. To be able to make a person laugh and smile and escape reality is pretty cool.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes I do. I read a lot of books and attend many magic based conventions each year. This is a way for me to stay connected in my field and to share my knowledge with others while continuing to learn.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would suggest for them to first slow down and to really study the art of magic before jumping into doing paid shows. you need to learn the tools of the trade and to really understand that magic is not about fooling people as it is about entertaining them.
