Jon taught my 13 yr. old son drumming for about a year and a half. My son loved taking drum lessons with Jon. Jon is an extremely talented musician himself and I think a highly qualified and fun drum instructor. I like that he works with each drumming student at that student's individual level from beginner -on. My son was a beginner so he even offered to help him with audition material for a try out if my son wanted to be in his school's marching band. I also like that Jon is flexible with your lesson scheduling and always does his best to fit someone in for a missed lesson. Jon is arduous about learning drumming technique and practicing after your lessons, but he is also patient. He is creative, enthusiastic and seems to want every drumming student to do well. I highly recommend Jon if you have a desire to learn the skill of drumming.

Jon is a very personable and competent teacher. Each lesson is tailored to developing my desires and weaknesses around the kit. His studio is set up with a sound system and 2 drum kits so he can demonstrate techniques and you can play along with him. He is very patient but also demanding. He truly desires to see you succeed.

Jon is kind, tenacious, and very accommodating. I suspect I am one of his more challenging students--impatient, overly-serious, and sensitive--but he navigates these emotional pitfalls seamlessly. He's a fine teacher with a lot of skill.

Jon is a great drum teacher for my 12 yr old son. He knows how to balance being fun but firm. Jon is knowledgeable not just musically but also with his teaching skills. Jon is young, current and brings his life/music experiences to the table. His ability to relate to my son keeps him interested and motivated. Jon has provided a wide array of experiences to my son ranging from fundamentals to pieces for school band try-outs to jam sessions with other kids/instruments. It is nice b/c Jon can come to our house or my son can go to his studio for lessons. We really feel lucky to have found a great drum teacher for our son. I highly recommend Jon Ardito.

My son really enjoys the drum lessons taught by Jon. He got a lot of extra stuff (not in the book) to practice. As a high schooler with a lot of homework, he will find whatever slot available to practice drums. I think Jon really inspired him to be a good drummer and his level of confidence has also increased a lot.
