Working with Jillian was so much fun! We had a good time and felt at ease. Even though my husband was skeptical, he had a blast as well! So happy she did our "pre-deployment" photos, they were absolutely wonderful and really captured our relationship and personalities!

I had my head shot photos for my professional website taken through JL Compton Photography. Jillian was a joy to work with. Very responsive to my emails and questions, super affordable rate, and flexible/available with appointment times. I brought my six-month-old along and Jillian knew just what to do to get the baby to smile (put on bunny ears of course!) Although I hired Jillian for my head shot photos and got exactly what I wanted (namely, several perfect and appropriate pictures in the correct specific size and format for my website, on disk), I also got some mother-daughter pics that ended up blowing my mind with the spot-on color of my daughter's eyes and the candid expression of love on my face! I could never achieve these things with a camera at home. Jillian was able to capture all of this in an easy-breezy conveniently short studio session, none of the fumbling around for 40 minutes arranging limbs in awkward poses like you would at Olan Mills. Oh, and she edits photos too, if you like certain aspects of one photo and want them transferred to another image. I ordered 8x10s of the three mother-baby pics I loved best, and they arrived super fast in the mail, in a no-bend envelope, ready for framing. Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely go with JL Compton Photography next time I need family photos. Well done!

Julian was amazing! We took engagement pictures at the park. She was very professional and the pictures came out beautifully. Her pricing is also very fair. We got our pictures back in about 2 days and it was her anniversary weekend so she is definitely dedicated to keeping her customers happy. We will be using her again very soon for family pictures.
