Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We clean our kennel twice a day, we do not use commercial cleaners , we use household cleaners that are safe for my grandkids to be around. We keep our kennel very clean and we are inspected yearly. Our puppies are washed and kept very clean.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I always tell people for boarding to make sure you can tour facility, if the person does not want to show you where your dog will stay then do not go there.
For puppy buying , make sure you see the parents, if they do not want to show parents BAD SIGN. ask for reference or check out the website and see if their are testimonials. make sure there are health guarantees for your pups. I firmly believe it is better to buy from a breeder NOT A PET STORE or even just a family breeder. Who knows in 2 or 3 years if that family breeder will be there for your questions in the future.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Here at cheyenne farm kennel we don't just breed our dogs to sell , they are all family members and each have their own specific owner and someone to love them. Because we breed pups we are out in kennel with moms, when they are away from there owners, (my kids, brother and grandchildren) playing, feeding and just hanging out with them. Therefore our Boarding customers are not just out by themselves they have interaction with my family and staff daily.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The best thing about my job is seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they take their pups home. With my boarding customers it is great that i have repeat customers for years and they are like a extended family.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Are you a puppy mill? No we are not as i previously said i have a large family 5 girls and grandkids and what happened was each of them had their own idea on the perfect dog, and this is why we breed so many kinds. Are your dogs kennel dogs? NO are dogs are family members , of course they are in kennel when having pups and in thier heat season, but all dogs are rotated in my home or live with my daughters and granchildren!
