A finely crafted portrait painting has such an incredible life expectancy; it is essentially permanent.

I am Eileen Mayhew, and I have developed the ability to achieve a superb, speaking likeness through years of training, rigorous self-discipline and experience. In my work, I want to capture the spirit and immortalize the likeness to stand on its own as a work of art. As a highly exacting craft of fine arts painting, you can be absolutely confident that only the finest, permanent pigments are used.

I specialize in oil, pastel and/or charcoal of men, women, children as well as pet portraits.

I have been the recipient of several of Eileen Mayhew's work stemming from 1977 . One of the pieces I commissoned was for a wedding gift and another was given to the former vice president of F.W.Woolworth's Co.. Her works of art brings out the personalities of the people or the charms of a setting. One will not be disappointed if Eileen becomes the artist of choice.
