- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
no complicated system.....simply parts, labor, and we allow the customer to purchase their own parts via the internet ( to save them money ) if they choose to. Our in home serv. call (depending on distance) is 60.00 which is used toward the cost of repairs. In-shop serv.. there is a 20.00 est. fee which is also applied to any repairs. however these fee's are not refundable. Diagnoses is incl. in these fee's as is the estimate for repairs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
ALWAYS...or you will not stay in a technical trade if you don't continually maintain trade updates via seminars, web-inars, tutorials on line, and a lot of reading on line and off !
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
was always a tinkerer and went to school for electronics in 1977 graduated with degree, have been personally in this buss. for 37 yrs. And have to continually update and re-train for all the new products and technologies !
