Furry Friends Pet Care is absolutely outstanding. We have worked with Alysha and her staff for several pet care services and have been happy with everything. The puppy obedience classes were fantastic - very practical, hands-on and useful. Our puppy really benefitted from our lessons and LOVED the time to play with other pups each week. We also work with Alysha to provide daily walks for our pup - he loves Alysha and her staff and it makes us feel more comfortable that he is exercising and socializing when we're at work. Alysha has also most recently helped us to prepare for the arrival of our first baby by providing us with some baby/pet preparation classes. Her suggestions are clear, practical and have made us feel confident as we introduce our baby to our pup.

Alysha and her crew, Lisa,Jen,Kaitlin and Ashley are simply the best. I can always depend on them to help me and I have such an erratic schedule. More importantly, my furry kids, Bailey,Sandy, Sophie and Izzy genuinely love them. Their daily and overnight services are so reliable ... not only are my kids taken care of, but I know my home is safe when I travel....a very comforting feeling. We LOVE Furry Fiends!

It's great to come home to notes from Alysha and Crystal, who walk my two dogs each day. I can tell Nichta and Finn are in good hands while I'm at work, and that the girls really care about them. In addition to providing great care every weekday, they're always flexible about scheduling overnight or weekend visits whenever we need them. I'd highly recommend Furry Friends!

Thought and much effort from the minute Alysha & her staff walk into your home. Very detailed oriented, asking the right questions, making sure that your pet gets total care, while also insuring your home is safe and sound. When she leaves your house, you feel very much at ease leaving your pet in her hands. We came home to a very happy healthy pet. Thank you Alysha and her staff. Our Teddy loved her!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We always offer a complementary meet and greet with any new dog walking or pet sitting customer (there is a charge for private dog training evaluations.) Every pet has a unique set of needs so we like to meet with you to go over your pet's routines and habits. This way we can offer you the best service possible!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked with animals in some capacity all of my life. In 2007 I started volunteering working with the animals at The Providence Animal Rescue League. After 5 years of pet sitting and dog walking, I went to school and received my certificate in 2012 for Canine Training and Behavior from Mt. Ida College in Newton, MA.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are a lot of non professionals out there. Make sure whoever you hire has insurance, a background check, solid transportation, several references, and most importantly experience with and a love for animals.
