FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It didn't hurt that my father was a contractor, and I was raised in a real estate environment. I originally was an accountant and financial analyst. I found that if I keeled over, it's very possible no one would ever find me in my cubicle since the job didn't really require working with people. I became a Realtor because I enjoy working with people.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If buying, build a relationship with one Realtor as opposed to calling a different realtor for every house. In the end, the buyer definitely gets more of a value-added experience.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Please be upfront about whether you are actively looking to buy/sell, or just browsing or contemplating a transaction. It lets the Realtor gauge your needs and better serve you. Also, clients who are pre-approved for a mortgage automatically get a gold star!
