I specialize in people and event photography, such as weddings, modeling, fashion, portraits, and sweet 16s. I take each picture with heartfelt passion and my personal goal as a photographer is to exceed your expectations! My pricing is reasonable and I can create custom packages tailored just for you. I come well dressed, on time, with back up equipment. I was rated as Best of Thumbtack for the last two years because I pay special attention to detail while having a relaxed and easy going style. Alan and I talked for a few weeks before my husband and I did our budoir pictures with him. As someone with severe anxiety and PTSD I don't like people seeing me vulnerable in any way. Alan assured me that we'd take it at a pace that worked for me and wouldn't do anything I wasn't comfortable with. He's super easygoing and made doing pictures fun and as stress free as possible.

We hired Creative Captures for our wedding pictures this past fall, on Oct 8th, after researching online for a good possible photographer. We were worried that we didn't know anybody and that would have to find someone on the internet. Finding Alan and Melissa was a blessing! They were fantastic since our very first contact for inquiry! Right off the bat they became our top choice when deciding among several options. They are very professional, responsive, courteous, and we got an incredible good vibe since we talked to them for the first time, and the feeling has long surpassed all the rush of the wedding. They called us a few times prior to the wedding, to make sure that they knew exactly what we wanted. They were so accommodating, they rolled with the punches with us when the day got crazy hectic and everyone was rushing around. They were so calm and collected, it was like an oasis to talk to them in the middle of the storm. They guided us, gave us ideas for pictures, helped everyone look their best, they didn't miss any shot that we asked them to get, we don't have enough words to describe how happy we are that we hired them. They are just wonderful human beings! We got our albums and files in time, they were beautiful, and all our family gave great raves about the work from Creative Captures. I didn't want my wedding photos to be a traditional and endless array of posed pictures with 20 people standing beside us at the altar so I asked Alan for candid shots and spur of the "Kodak" moments. As we walked a block from the church to the restaurant, Alan walked with us and found the most unique and interesting backdrops along the way and at lighting speed. I've never seen a photographer with such an abundance of imagination, creativity and enthusiasm! And to top it all off, he's just as fun-loving and affable as you could ask for! He didn't make us feel like taking pictures was a chore. Instead, our photos focused and captured our individuality as a couple and not just another bride and groom holding hands!

We had Alan take some family portraits for us. I can't rave enough about his work. He hadn't seen the site for our photos so he arrived early to take test shots and figure out the best place for lighting. He was well organized, quick (it was cold and we had a couple of kids in the shot, so we had to work fast!), great at directing the shot but never overbearing. The finished photos are professionally edited with beautiful detail and color/quality. Highly recommmeded!

We hired Alan of Creative Captures Photography for our October wedding. Before meeting him, we had been very impressed by both the creativity and conciseness of his samples. Upon meeting him, we found him to be professional, easy to work with and organized. However, talented is the word I would use first. He truly captured some great photos despite the rain on our wedding day. He even put his life on the line running across a busy street trying to get the perfect shot! At the reception, he made sure that he got all the photos that we requested and he worked well with the other vendors. If you are looking for a talented photographer with a great personality at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend Alan. We couldn't have wished for anything more.
