Do you need print design for marketing your business?
Make sure your branding and marketing efforts are updated to represent your business successfully. With 4 years of print design experience, I am skilled at creating an expanse of print collateral ranging from simple logo or custom graphics to full-corporate brochures and publications.
In addition to typical identity items, such as letterhead, envelopes, and business cards, I can also layout product and sales sheets, manuals, and custom forms.
I offer the following services:
* Logo Design
* Letterhead
* Envelopes
* Business Cards
* Brochures
* Flyers
* Direct Mail
* Publications
* Style Guides

Do you need visually engaging presentation design?
I have designed over 400 advanced PowerPoint presentations in the last year alone. While it may be true that no one in your industry expects you to win any design awards or know anything about design at all, most people secretly judge ugly PowerPoint presentations.
PowerPoint's user friendly interface and rather basic editing tools have enabled many presenters to create their own presentations to a fault. Without the help of a professional designer, the results usually aren't pretty.
I'm here to fix that problem. You provide the presentation information, and I'll ensure that your audience is carrying you out on their shoulders instead of laughing you out of the building.
I offer the following services:
* PowerPoint Presentations
* Keynote Presentations
* Motion Graphics
* Custom Illustration
* Audio Editing

Matt has provided invaluable assistance to Transparent Language on a project which has become one of the signature features of our product. In fact, he quite literally wrote the book on this project, providing a style guide which sets all standards.
Matt displays a focus on detail which makes the job much easier for everyone else. Best of all, he understands what we need, and how to deliver it under deadline. Although Matt is one of our remote contractors, I consider Matt to be as much a part of our team here at Transparent Language as the person who sits next to me.

A. Good designers have well-defined priorities.
They are, and in order of importance:
1.To support Themselves
2.Sell the Client’s Product or Service
3.Please the Client
4.Do Captivating, Innovative, Award-winning work!
A. I would like to have a more thorough understanding of the complete design process. Whether it be for logo design, print design, or web design. Like anything else in life, I would feel much more comfortable paying for a service if I knew exactly what I was getting for my hard-earned money. One of the most significant reasons clients don't properly budget for design projects is because they don't have a clue about what's involved in the design process for the service they are in need of.
One of the first things I try to do when I meet a potential client is to educate them on the basics of what I do. Communication with a client works both ways... Both parties need to understand one another's profession in order to meet your mutual business goals.
A. 1. Will you tell me a little bit about yourself?
2. How long have you been in business?
3. Do you have an office space, or are you home-based?
4. How many people work in your office?
5. What’s your specialty?
6. Have you worked on this kind of a project before?
7. How much does it cost?
8. What are your payment terms?
9. How long is your turnaround time?
10. Who will I work with on this project? Who does the actual design work?
11. What’s included with my project?
12. What do I need to provide?
13. What if I’m not happy with the design?
14. Who owns the design once it’s finished and paid for?
15. Do you have references?
16. Can you send me some samples?
17. Why should I hire you for the job?
A. It's really amazig how many prospects forget to seriously consider how much they should spend on marketing. One of my first questions to them will be: "What is your marketing budget?"
Most companies under spend on their marketing budgets, thinking that to not spend is to save. This quite simply isn't true. You have to spend money to make money. The trick is to spend your money wisely on a tailored marketing plan aimed at fulfilling your company's goals.
Two main things should be considered when setting a marketing budget:
The development or refinement of the brand and the channels used to promote the brand. These include logos, Web sites, blogs, e-mail campaigns, sales presentations, brochures, ads, etc.
The ongoing expense of promoting and advertising your brand to your customer base and your prospects.
