I teach people to get their dogs to stop jumping, pulling on the leash, lunging at other dogs, biting, nipping, rushing into or out of doors, and running away.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always look for happy, well-behaved dogs on and off-leash. Only hire a trainer who has trained dogs to show you.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
My job is to train people to live with and have a happy relationship with their dog(s). That will require directness, honesty, consistency, and a willingness to change.
