FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually do the calculating, which is why I urge people to contact me first, but here is the basic layout of my pricing structure: 1. Base Fee: Includes applicable taxes, travel fees, editing charges, etc. 2. Hourly Fee: I charge $65/hour for my time 3. Product Charges (if applicable): Any product purchases are added up. Applicable product taxes are usually included. 4. Licensing Fees (if applicable): Some packages include a license (I have several to choose from), and if so it is included here. 5. Editing (if applicable): I offer two types of editing, basic and advanced. Editing can be charged per image, per set of images, or for all images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. Not just that, but I stay well-tuned to the photographic past as well as the future. I know not simply how to wield a camera, but know how it works, how to clean and repair it, the history of photography from some of the first pinhole cameras, to the latest Nikon and Cannon models. I love everything relating to, and of, photography.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of work I do are wedding and portrait photography. I very much enjoy all aspects of my work, and am open to any type of photography project, so feel free to ask!
