Introduction: I have a PhD in Communication Studies, an MFA in Acting, and an MA in Literacy Education and Linguistics. I am also a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA), Actors Equity Association (AEA), and the National Communication Association (NCA). I teach at the college level but have also helped hundreds of clients from children to corporate executives (national and international). I tutor young people in language arts (reading, grammar, presentation skills, and improvement of the speaking voice). I coach internationals in learning English and improving pronunciation. I also coach at corporations' theatre skills for improving productivity as well as speech writing and presenting, accent reduction, and training the speaking voice for power and neutralizing dialects to General American English. I also customize learning needs for individuals and small groups in language arts, oral interpretation, acting, speech and diction and emphasize fun in developing skills for self-improvement and self-esteem.
