About Joshua Robich

hired 1 time on Thumbtack

I currently play at various restaurants, bars and private events around the Charleston area such as Boone's, Midtown, Beerworks, O'malley's, California Dreaming, King Street Grill, Molly Darcy's etc. I play a wide variety of music from classic rock to contemporary hits and will also learn specifically requested songs for an event. I enjoy playing covers that people are able to sing and dance along with, and have a song for almost anyone. I also throw in some originals as well. Thanks for reading hope to hear from ya soon!!

Question and answer

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The absolute best thing about my job is the people I have the opportunity to meet. I love watching people react to my music through dancing or simply moving their lips to the song. I know I have done my job well when people can really get into and enjoy the music. I also enjoy feeling out the crowd and playing music that I believe they will enjoy the most based on which songs they seem to get the most into.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I started playing the piano when I was in 1st grade, and the guitar in 6th grade. I have always played music in one form or another, whether it's at church, talent shows, various bands, or solo recording. I was a part of the Indianapolis Children's Choir for three years, and toured all over Indiana. I was also a part of an elementary school choir, called the Rocketeers. I cannot imagine myself doing any other job right now, as long as I am able to support myself fully through music. I know I will always have music in my life in one form or another.
