- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are on a weekly basis and students have reserved lesson times. The cost is: $100.00 for 4-30 minute lessons each month $200.00 for 4-60 minute lessons each month I teach Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, Jazz and Blues Vocal Styles. I have a private studio in the West Ashley Area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning from vocal coaches around the world... I get different perspectives... and learn a lot from a variety of talented teachers.... We all have our techniques and we learn a lot from one another! I find teachers online who suggest exercises for a variety of situations... The web family is Amazing! I have two BA Degrees, a BA in Music and a BA in Theater. I earned those two degrees in four years. I was also a Trumpet player and I played in brass quintets for churches and services, was 2nd chair trumpet in the Charleston Symphony and played French Horn when needed. But now, I am a Singer and a Vocal Coach and I love it! I am a Pro Singer and I teach all popular styles.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was 16 years old. I went to a movie called..A Star Is Born... Staring Barbra Streisand. When I walked out of that theater I knew what I wanted to do in life... It was to sing... And sing I did... I will have lived in Charleston, SC.... Atlanta, GA and Seattle, WASHINGTON... Currently I am in the city of Charleston.. I see students on a weekly basis.
