We just got our engagement photos back and absolutely love them!!! It was a hot night in Charleston and all of the shots look incredible. Michel spent an evening with us, taking us through all the different backdrops the historic area has to offer. Two weeks later we have the pictures back and absolutly love them! We shopped around a lot for a local photographer and you get the best value with Michel. The pictures we have from our engagement shoot are the same quality you see with his portfolio and on par with all the wedding mags Karly has been showing me just about daily. Guys, do the right thing and if you have any say, hire Michel. I know Karly loves them because the very first day she ordered over 40 prints of our engagement shoot.

Michel Berda and his associates were fantastic to work with. As soon as I emailed him, he picked-up the phone and gave me a call. As someone who works in event planning and management, I was impressed by his responsiveness and his desire to make our wedding special. The florist he recommended for my bridal portrait session was amazing! The bouquet was truly beautiful and he even had some recommendations for my fiancé as to what bar he should hang out at for a few hours while I was at the photo shoot. One of the other amazing things Michel did was he came-up with an idea to do a group shot with all of our guests throwing rose petals into the air. He even went to Costco the day before the wedding to buy them in bulk so we could save some money. Imagine that, a vendor trying to SAVE you money. After we took this photo, my fiancé and I had several photos taken in the area where all of these beautiful, different colored rose petals lay strewn about on the ground. These are some of our favorite shots. I can't even describe how lovely this colorful array was on the green grass of the golf course next to my white dress and my fiancés tux. Thank you Michel, Darrell and Harold for your artistic eye and professionalism!

Having Michel Berda photograph our wedding was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The first time we spoke on the phone during the initial search for a photographer, Michel made us feel even more excited about the wedding. It is clear that Michel has a passion for photography, and he takes extreme pride in his work. When Michel agrees to photograph a wedding he puts his whole heart into it, and works tirelessly to make the photographs of your wedding day perfect. Each time we talked his excitement and enthusiasm were contagious and only made us more excited about the upcoming wedding. Michel works with you through the entire process leading up to the wedding to make sure that you will get the pictures that you need, in a timetable that works for you on the day. The day of the wedding is truly impressive. Michel shows up on time, ready to work. From the moment he arrives to the moment he leaves he is working to capture every aspect of the wedding. Michel does this in a way that is in no way disruptive, but rather he blends in when he needs to, and helps you relax when necessary. After the wedding he is able to set the photographs in such a way that they come out artistic and creative. He takes time to make each one perfect and through the photographs captures the feeling of the day. I would recommend Michel to anyone having a wedding or big event!

We had Michel Berda and King Street Photos shoot our wedding at Sea Pines in Hilton Head on July 22, 2011. We were thoroughly impressed with Michels professionalism. The pictures are amazing! Michel was friendly and worked very hard. It was extremely hot and he was running all over Sea Pines getting the pictures. My family, friends and I felt comfortable during the group photos. Michel provided a relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to take some really great pictures. If I had to do it again, there is one little thing I would change. Although I was aware of the time that Michel was leaving, I had no idea what time it was during the reception. So, when he told me it was time for him to go, I didnt have a chance to get a few more pictures in. I wish I had asked for a 20-30 minute warning so that I could make sure I had photos with specific people. However, the pictures that Michel did get were wonderful. A week before the wedding, Michel arranged a bridal shoot in Charleston. The weather was not cooperating with us, but Michel was determined to get it done. I was impressed with his diligence. In the end, after changing locations, but eventually ending at our original spot, we successfully completed the bridal shoot. We had a good time, and you cannot tell at all that the weather was dull and overcast. The pictures are beautiful! We are very happy with our experience with Michel, and we would not hesitate to use King Street Photos again in the future.

Definitely a Star in my book! Michel was a joy to work with!! I am pleased to be his first Bahamian bride...I am from the beautiful island of Grand Bahama in the Bahamas and Michel flew down to capture all the great moments of my day which he did splendidly! We had no videographer so it was important to capture all the details of my wedding day. This is why I selected Michel....I became very familiar with his work from the destination weddings he did by the hotel where I work. I love how he captures all the happy moments with candid shots, which also tells a story. Michel is flexible and wonderful to work with. Very simple it all boils down to availability and if I am, I will be happy to maybe work with the clients needs and budget.

Simple good communication by having a phone conference, understanding their needs, signing a contract getting a retainer/deposit and giving them impeccable service.
