A. I believe that it is important for clients to do some research on their own to develop an understanding of what their project may cost. No Internet search will give you an exact price for a specific job, but it will begin to build a range of cost expectations and help forecast a budget.

It is part of our service to provide information to potential clients, but it is helpful for there to be a reasonable expectation of what the project cost may be. Contractors don't really love it when asked to put together a detailed estimate for people that are just "kicking tires".

If you have found a good contractor, trust what they know in a similar fashion as trusting your doctor or attorney. We are licensed, educated, and experienced professionals making a career in a difficult field. There are easier ways to make money...we do this because we love it.
