We visit Folly Beach every year and wanted to celebrate my parent's 40th anniversary with family pictures. I found Hana on the web and I was thrilled with her professionalism and the entire process. Our pictures turned out fantastic, we were thrilled. She helped us pick the location, the time. She was kind, friendly and professional. Furthermore, she kept three children interested, so we were able to get great pictures. She is truly great. We are thinking about making this a yearly ritual. My mom loved the gift, she would have been happy with just a few pictures but we had over a hundred and the print quality is fabulous. I recommend Hana and Selador Images to anyone!

Hana is an incredible photographer! What I love the most about her style is she made Ben and I feel 100% comfortable on our wedding day!! She is great with placing the bridesmaids and groomsmen and incorporating our style/theme of the wedding in every shot. Hana also listens to your ideas and helps to make them a reality. During our wedding, she captured every precious moment from start to finish (I could not believe how many photos she took). Hana also uses an incredible camera & her editing skills are very unique and natural. She was very timely with posting our pictures with a turn-around of less than two-weeks! I recommend Hanna to everyone because with her prices & quality of work...no one in Charleston can top her! I wish her the best of luck & will always use Hana for future photog needs.  Thank you soo much!!

My husband and I recently got married on Folly Beach this past October. We are from Ohio, so not knowing the area was challenging when booking vendors. I was so concerned that I would spend alot of money on a photographer and end up hating my pictures. This was not the case at all with Selador Images. Hana was amazing to work with. She really knew what shots looked great on the beach and I could tell how experienced she was. My friends and family, as well as my husband and I, were blown away by how great our pictures turned out. What I really liked is that Hana gives you rights to all of your pictures. You don't have to buy prints from her unless you want to. I received my CD's with all my pictures in less than two weeks after my wedding. I would highly recommend Hana to anyone looking for an experienced photographer at a fair price.

I hired Hana to take photos of my family along with my best friends family while we were visiting Folly Beach on vacation. She was very polite, sweet, and had a ton of patience. We came with a 2 year old, that was not in the mood for pictures, and a 1 year old. She was able to capture both children. Her artist talent and quick reaction time produced awesome photos of both kids. Their personalities definitely shined through. We are looking forward to our next vacation to Folly Beach and hiring Hana, for updated family photos.

Hana was a pleasure to work with and her ablity to capture the moment is unbelievable. Beach winds nor a 10 month old stopped her from getting the perfect shot. My family and I were very pleased with our pictures and we would recommend her to anyone.

What types of customers have you worked with?
The types of photography jobs I receive range widely from headshots and commercial work to weddings and portraiture, however I most commonly am involved with wedding photography and portraits (family, senior, baby, etc)., and this is where my passion lies. I absolutely love working with kids, brides, couples, seniors, families... if it involves capturing the unique personality of a person or the unique relationship between two or more people, I am in my element.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My #1 piece of advice for anyone looking for a wedding photographer is to ensure that you will receive a disc of images and own rights to your photographs. Many photographers either don't offer this or charge a significant fee for the disc and rights (but not Hanalani Photography!), so check to be sure. Also, make sure that your photographer is a great fit. Particularly if it is for a wedding, it is essential that you feel comfortable and at ease with your photographer. After all, you will be sharing a lot of time and intimate moments together!
