Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Over 30 years experience as a wedding and newspaper photographer. I have photographed all different kinds of weddings and am familiar with bride's and groom's ideas for their Special Day.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Past experience of the photographer at photographing weddings. A photographer who just says he or she is a wedding photographer doesn't mean that he or she has the neccessary experience to cover your Special Day.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What is your price? Will YOU photograph my wedding? Whose weddings have you photographed before? How long have you been photographing weddings?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What style wedding photos do I want taken? Some brides and grooms like serious posed photos, but my clients like the fact that I cover 99% of what is happening on their Special Day. One couple nicknamed me "The Photo Ninja" because I had so many photos of happenings at their wedding and reception and they didn't even see me taking them!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. A wedding ceremony is a special happy event. A wedding reception is a "par-tay" and I get to see and photograph all the laughter, tears, smiles, joking, special comments, fun dancing, friends, family, and love.
