- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Usual complete wedding packages are priced starting at $949.00 (4 hours of coverage, approx 200 online proofs and high resolution images with customer selected hard-cover coffee table book). Flexible options are available for additional or reduced coverage time, large framed prints, parent albums, bridal portrait, video, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, I consult and perform services without any deposit or surcharge, and only charge a deposit in cases where the scope of the job is large and complex enough to warrant such, and date(s) secured. Completed images, however, are not delivered in their entirety until payment is received. Contracts can also be prepared and emailed prior to any services performed and to secure dates of services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography and commercial art at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and have worked under commercial photographers in the New York City area where I was born and raised. I have been an avid photographer since the age of 8 years - learning initially on my own and from my grandfather, another avid family photographer, who used medium and large format cameras, as well as silver halide film developing. I found a penchant for only using slide film with my reflex 6x4.5, Minolta and Nikon film cameras during the 1980's and 1990's. Since 2000, I have been using digital SLR camera systems and my preferred currently used system is the Canon 5D Mk2 and Canon's L series lenses.
