Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Every weekend, I perform for 1-2 private events, which include corporate events, birthdays, and other private venues, and I am seen about once a week performing close-up shows in my hometown. I perform in large theatres on occasion as a guest performer, I am a motivational speaker/magic show for high schools and middle schools, and I organize magic groups to perform for festivals around Charlotte, North Carolina. I am very well rounded for venues!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Talk to the entertainer you are looking to hire before you actually decide to hire him/her. I would also highly recommend not trying to find the cheapest priced magician. Anybody can do tricks, only a magician can perform magic.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love to make people laugh, and I love to make people happy. Its also been my dream to be a magician, and I am living it. Theres no better feeling than getting paid to do something you have a passion for!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. It is a very challenging job. It requires more than just learning how to do "tricks". A magician has to be able to connect with the audience and keep them entertained.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. My most recent project as far as shows go would be a fundraising magic show I put on back in December. The show would raise money for families around York County who would not have a Christmas that year. It took about A couple months of planning in order to actually put on the show, and the content of the show had taken several months to perfect. In the end, I was able to raise over $1,200 for families in York County.
