A. Intense Labor- I was raised in the Country where hard work was just a way of life. The skills I learned on working hard and smart have been incorprated into my company and my Employees that make our Customers always return too us.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. How important it is to ask questions about your Move before it takes place and not after. Too make sure your Mover has Refrences that relate to your type of Move. If its an Office Move ask for prior Office move refrences.

A. How many bedroooms?
How many floors?
Truck parking?
How many boxes?
Any outdoor furniture?

A. Many in the business are in for the wrong reasons. I enjoy Moving and enjoy working handson every day with my Highly Trained Crews. Many companies out there advertise Insurance and Refrences, We actually have them and can proove it.

A. Customer Life Advice- Best so far- "Son the only reason why My Husband I are still married is because we never wanted to get divorced at the same time"
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. How important it is to hire Movers who Care. If you work hard for your belongings it makes sense to hire a Company that understands that and can guide you through the process of protecting your belongings so they can last a lifetime.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. When I was 15 i helped my Best Friend load his Mothers Uhaul when she was Moving to New Hampshire. It was a great workout and I enjoyed the challange of the Tetris like skills it took to load the truck correct. Then she gave us $40 dollars each and that made it even more rewarding.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. Helping a gentleman that was on a fixed income. He sent me a letter in the mail (yes snail mail-LOL) thanking myself and my crew for making his Moving Experience not only the Most cost efficent move he had ever experienced , but he also stated he had always felt overwhelmed on move day until he used us. It is rewarding when someone takes the time to remind you what makes you love what you do.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. We are a member of the AMLPA. We go through the FPP training program. i am very active in communications with other small moving companies on the east coast where we regularly share tips and trade secrets to help us all improve.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Straps (yes like the ones you see on tv). Straps are great because not only can you pick up very heavy pieces with them, but unlike dollies the piece is picked off the floor so you don't have to worry about the marks that dollies can leave on flooring.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. We moved the oldest home in Charleston SC. It had been converted into a libary and we have helped the homeowner with several staging projects and other smaller moves over the years. On his big day we moved over 5000 books and shelves along with many old and antique pieces. We also have done some interesting moves for U.S. Border Patrol doing moves in their offices.

A. That how you treat your Customers will make or break your business. Even in the case when you have the most unreasonable customer , you must always remember there is always a middle ground. Word of mouth can be as good or as bad as you make it. A true Business Man not only understands this , but believes this and lives by this.
