My husband is a man who think he should do everything himself. When we moved into our new home my convincing point was our very high ceilings. We hired Scott and his crew to paint a large portion of our home. After the job was completed and we didn’t need to go around cleaning paint of trim or electrical outlets that my husband forgot to cover, my husband looked at me and said I will never paint again we have SE Johnson =)!! Our house looks amazing, and I honestly cant wait to have them paint the rest of our house. I keep going into the unpainted rooms seeing all the little nicks in the walls. I am so happy we found SE Johnson Company… We can finally leave the painting to someone else and be reassured it will be done right the first time!!!

Scott Johnson has execellent attention to detail, he is very thorough with his work, reliable and is extremely fair with his price. Scott goes above and beyond the call of duty and goes the extra mile. I would highly recommend him as he did a wonderful job on my homes interior walls, deck, power-washing, ceiling, trim work and interior doors. You won't be dissappointed. Dave

Job well done! I am extremely critical when it comes to evaluating home improvement vendors – so believe me when I say SE. Johnson Painting is the best painter in the area. Scott and his crew tackled and tamed years of old paint on my 90 year-old house. They did an excellent job scraping the multiple layers from my dental molding and window seals. All the wood now looks brand new! I saved hundreds of dollars by allowing Scott to repair, paint and rescreen my porch. Scott even picked the color for my front door (Poinsettia Red) . I’ve received dozens of complements from neighbors – so if your thinking of hiring them – do it, you won’t regret it. I will hire him again to paint the interior of my home.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I painted apartments in the winter time from the age of 16, for a guy that was an obsessive compulsive, everything had to be top notch, I used to hate his approach, but I loved the results, and thank him today for my lessons in the field. Later those lessons helped me become a foreman (at the only paint company I worked for), then eventually start up my own company.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Watch out, with all the recent lay-offs, and factory closings, everybody is all of a sudden a painter. Always remember, like with anything else in this world, you get what you pay for, if a quote sounds too good to be true it probably is.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Painting is all about the prep work, not just buying a gallon of paint and slapping it on the walls. You can easily obtain a beautiful finish you can be proud of by taking the proper steps before you open the paint!
