Susan has been my stylist for more than 10 years now. She always finds the perfect thing for me and everything I have bought on her recommendation I have loved and worn for years. What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The work of a Stylist and personal Shopper is HARD. Physically, mentally and emotionally. You have to be diplomatic and brutally honest. You have to be sensitive and brutally honest. You have to gently lead your client into a new way of seeing themselves. Clients sometimes think that you have a new wardrobe in your back pocket, but it takes time and energy to find the perfect piece, along with choices. A bit of patience goes a long way when your working with a Stylist that barely knows you and is expected to create miracles in a day (which I usually do! lol!). Success in image consulting is a group effort. I am happy to say I've been pretty lucky.
