FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking for ways to improve on efficiency and information. I am a certified Master Gardener since 2004 and am continually learning more in the world of plants and landscape innovation. I also enjoy workshops and educational tours and field events at every opportunity.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It's a natural fit for me. I have always enjoyed helping my family members and friends with their gardens and flowers since I was a very young girl. I have also always had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Being a mother of 6, you get really efficient at cooking, cleaning, and growing things! As I've grown older, I have found great joy in continuing my passion with more knowledge opportunities and seeing beautiful gardens all across the country at every opportunity
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often I am hired to design a new landscape for newly built or renovated homes. We also care regularly for theornamental or foodscape gardens of busy families or businesses. I also help clients ready gardens they are moving in or out of. I very often help clients to "find" their landscape after purchasing a property that has been neglected. By far, my favorite is the complete garden renovation.
