Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The best advice for customers looking to hire a web designer is to know what you are looking for. If you are uncertain about how the process works, the designer should describe in full detail the steps needed to complete the project. A great designer will include the clients opinions and goals in mind throughout every step of the design process.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I were a customer I would like to know what techniques are necessary for making a great website. Ask your web designer to share their strategy for making your website draw in customers and rank well in the search engines. There shouldn't be any secrets to accomplishing these goals!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. To ensure that you are hiring the right service professional a consumer should ask the following questions... Do they have references that speak highly of them? Do they share all of the up-front costs involved with completing the web design project? Do they create custom solutions to meet your goals? Do they allow you, the client, to obtain ownership of the website they build for you?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Before contacting a web design professional, buyers should have a well thought out plan about their services and or products. If the buyer can sell their own service or product, the website should act as a companion piece to assist in selling the buyer. The website should act as a tool to carry out the buyers message, so make sure you know what that message is!
