We have received many compliments on our website from other healthcare facility administrators and patients. It is visually appealing and informative, but easy to navigate. For more than four years Laymance Technologies has provided professional, courteous service and support to keep our website current.

I have used and worked with Laymance Technologies for the past 5 years. At all times they have been quick to respond and provide excellent development services and products. Laymance has saved me money and time and always allows me to deliver top-notch products to my customers. I can trust that the work will be completed on-time and within the budget constraints. I have used so many different development companies over the years and Laymance is by far the best that I know!

I highly recommend Laymance Technologies! I own a small retail store and I wanted to start selling my products online, so I asked around and ended up with another designer in Knoxville. Our experience was awful and the site was never completed. A friend suggested that I contact Rick so I did. He walked me step by step through the process of designing my store and site, and got me up and running very quickly! Now I have a complete store front with a cart system that handles credit card payments and real-time UPS and USPS shipping quotes. By looking at my store you wouldn't know that it's just a small store in East Tennessee!

A. The best advice is for the customer to ask lots of questions and to make sure they know exactly what they are getting. If you are uncertain about any aspects of the design or development process, the provider should be able to thoroughly and accurately describe each step and what is involved.
The client's opinions and desires should also be taken into consideration when working through the project. Be sure to tell the provider of any expectations you have and make sure that they are going to fulfill those.
A. There are very little actual secrets about the work that is done itself, most "secrets" have to do with the business aspect of the trade. One secret is that some firms do absolutely none of the work themselves, they actually sub-contract the work to other firms. Ask your provider if they are going to be the one that does the work or whether the work will be sub-contracted out.
We actually do a lot of sub-contracting for other firms, so we may be the ones doing the work of some of the other companies that you may speak with. However, we may not be. We are confident in our ability to provide an excellent service at a reasonable rate, and in a reasonable amount of time. Other subcontractors may not have such high standard, which could leave you playing the waiting game and then not satisfied with the results!
A. There are several questions that should be asked:
1) Are all up-front costs being disclosed before the project begins? Having new or undisclosed charges "sprung" on you after the fact is no fun!
2) References. Ask for references of people who they have worked with!
3) Templates. Will the work be custom or will their be a template used. I've received the phone calls from clients that have horror stories of paying thousands of dollars for a design only to happen across that same design later on a template site being sold for $50.00!
Some clients are wanting really, really low-cost sites and they may prefer to use a template, and there is nothing wrong with that, as long as thats something that is known up front!
A. The buyer should have a strong grasp on what exactly it is they want and what they want to accomplish. They need to have a well planned out list of pages, products, and functions that any custom system may perform.
A. I love being able to create something from nothing. The client has an idea of something that they want, and then that idea is taken and worked and results in something that is real. That's why I often say that we can take you from "idea to reality"!
