Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I specialize in journalistic wedding photography and modern portraits for families. Whether newly engaged, expecting a baby, turning sweet 16, embarking on those adventurous collegiate years or celebrating a golden anniversary, you are about to experience memories you値l want to cherish forever and pass on to future generations. And that痴 where I come in!
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. My three recent jobs include second shooting a wedding with a photographer colleague, modern portraits for a two year old, and wedding photography for a couple from Mississippi.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I want you to think 5 years down the road and ask yourself "What do I love the most about the photos from my wedding?!" Is it that you have a gorgeous storybook album that holds precious memories like your friends helping you out with your make-up, your sister helping you put on your jewelry, and your mom crying as you put on your wedding dress? Do you envision that storybook album also holding images of your flower girl looking up at you dreaming of the day she will look just as beautiful in her own wedding gown? And what about those images from the reception of your father giving your groom one last word of advice before you jet out to begin your new life together? If you've answered yes to all of those questions, then you want a journalistic wedding photographer like me! :)
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. You will want to be clear on what a wedding collection will give you in terms of product or credit after the wedding is over. Don't just look at the cost of photographing the wedding.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. When you are 10 or 25 years down the road from your wedding, what product do you want to still have from that special day. Be sure to think about whether you want printed 4x6 photos, an album, canvas prints, photos on DVD, etc. Budget for those items, as well.
