Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. In this current season we are doing a lot of single-ply systems. Single-ply roofs, whether PVC or TPO systems, are great because they can be installed in any season. They are great systems and can be very affordable depending on the client's roofing needs.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. StagePost Studios - PVC Single-Ply Roofing System, Nashville, TN.
Pathway Lending - SPF Foam Roofing System, Nashville, TN
TitleMax - TPO Single-Ply Roofing System, Goodlettsville, TN.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Be leery of contractors that over promise and under deliver. Many times in roofing you have inexperienced contractors looking to make a profit that cut corners to save time and money.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. 1) Metal Roofs are not maintenance free. Often, people believe that metal roofs last forever. This is not the case. We apply our metal roof restoration systems on many new, leaky metal roofs.
2) Many roofing companies land a contract and you can never get in contact with them again if there are problems. We do not take that approach with our clients. We keep open communication with our clients should a problem arise.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Know the end goal. Are you wanting to completely replace your roof or put a band aid on it? Knowing the end goal helps us to serve you best. It allows us to provide our customer with the best possible roofing system solution for their specific needs.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. 1) We have superior products and quality workmanship.
2) All work is owner-inspected.
3) Energy Efficient Green Roofing Systems.
4) Annual Inspections for 2 years after installation.
5) Non-prorated Warrantees.
6) Quick Communication.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. We love to help customers find real solutions to their roofing needs. We are not in the business to make quick fixes, but to provide real solutions. We love to teach our customers about their roofs and how they can get the most out of it. We take a different approach with our clients by empowering them to make the best decisions for their roof.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. 1) Q: What is the cheapest option?
A: We provide the best option(s) for their roof. We do not always recommend the
cheapest option, but the best long-term value for their roof.
2) Q:Can our roof simply be repaired?
A: Often, it can be. There are also times when the existing roofing system is in such
disarray that we try not to waste our customers money by throwing money to a lost

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Our favorite thing about what we do is seeing how satisfied and relieved our customers are when we repair or install their roof. For our customers to know that the building holding their investment is sound gives them peace of mind.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Our answer is the same as our advice about hiring contractors: Be leery of contractors that over promise and under deliver. Many times in roofing you have inexperienced contractors looking to make a profit that cut corners to save time and money.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. We have been in roofing for over 30 years. Roofing was the means for paying for college, seminary, and supporting a family. One day it finally birthed the idea of this wonderful company.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. We did a job for Pathway Lending here in Nashville, TN. It was an SPF Foam System. It has held up well and continues to look just as white as the day we installed it. Pathway Lending is a great company that provides financing to other companions for energy efficient upgrades. We were able to provide them with an energy efficient roof that met their needs and budget.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. We are training all season long. The roofing manufacturers that make the roofing systems we use require us to be certified in the latest and greatest materials, equipment, and resources. Continued learning is a must in our field of work.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Green Roofs. It is amazing to know that you can help the ecosystem by installing a green roof that saves you money and helps the economy.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Be patient and diligent. It is not for faint of heart. There are many rewards to being in commercial roofing, but it is also a very competitive and challenging environment. Every roof is different and comes with its difficulties.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. Integrity. We will get the job done right. We do not cut corners. Cutting corners saves time and money, but does not result in the greatest roof.
Q. What are you currently working on improving?
A. Systems. Systems help every company work better. Having the right systems in place provide consistency and excellence. We are all about both.
